We looked far and wide and finally found a hobby farm in BC that will ship eggs. They show their birds and have good lines, although we may have to wait until they get eggs. They are also a reasonable price, which is good for noobs like us that have NO idea what we're doing! They list blues, black, and splash, and yeah, a blue or black would be my first choice, because we'll end up with some splash as well.

Cool! None of the breeders here ship eggs..

I wish they did as I don't like spending $82-$145 for a pair. One of the pairs coated about $235 with shipping!

You will be busy. We're not there yet, but we have talked about getting Boots cleaned up and taking him to the show up the road if there's time. Our aim right now is to get a few birds and see how they do down here, plus see if we can raise some chicks of our own.

Very cool! Where are you getting the eggs from?
I know most breeders won't even sell chicks and will NEVER sell eggs. Unless you are getting them from a hatchery.

My suggestions is to get some Blue, Black, Splash eggs. Since he is a splash that way you can breed them for Blues and Splashes
Small farm in BC. She will only ship live birds to BC and Alberta but flies eggs in Canad. She does show her birds and has some nice stock.
We have a dozen eggs ordered for Spring. $60/doz + ExpressPost Shipping across Canada. She has some light Blues and Splash, which match with what we have already. No blacks, but I will keep an eye out. She was pretty excited, considering she has to re-arrange her pens to fill our order. She uses her Cochins for hatching duck and turkey eggs, and I imagine they can handle a good number of chicken eggs at one time too.
Now the fun! We need everything. Incubator, brooder, another pen yada yada…
