Large mass on my ovary

I have been having pains where I *think* my ovaries are located. They hurt so bad at times.
I wonder.....

Good luck Jody! I had a cyst a couple years ago and it turned out (upon examination of several ultrasounds) to be just a blood filled cyst. They can be lots of things, but it was very painful!!! I begged the Dr to just jerk it all out so I could be done with those accursed ovaries, but noooooo.

Good luck Jody, sounds like a routine thing? I say, get rid of the thing~ as long as you're OK with it! Hope all is fine.

Speaking from experience here....please get a GYN/ONC to be present at the surgery. If they open you up and discover its cancer then you need someone there who can remove it correctly. I hope and pray its not but believe me this first surgery can make all the difference.

Best of luck to you. I hope everything is okay. I had the same thing you are describing now, only on my left side. My Gyn did the surgery, and thankfully, it was only a cyst.

I was looking up ovarian cysts recently as well and read they can actually have like hair and teeth in them... our bodies can do strange things.

My sister also had a blood cysts out of her 7 masses and they call those chocolate cysts.

If my ovarian cyst causes me any more trouble they will have to stop my blood thinners first before they can do anything.

...i'm kinda fond of my parts right now though. They can have the cyst but leave my parts.

I hope yours turns out to be something minor.
