Large mass on my ovary

Quote:
I don't think it's hereditary because nobdy else in the family has it. By the way, would you run down to DQ and pick me up a box of no sugar added dilly bars? Oh, and some onion rings too. Thanks!

I didn't have cysts on my ovaries but I had spider-web stuff all over them and when they were removed they were non-cancerous but it also threw me into early menopause at 36. I've been "monthly" free for 9 years now! We'll be praying for you and you will be fine!

I believe the spider webs are endromeciosis (sp), I have that too.
I had an ablasion back in March,

. I have two sisters that have had hysterectomies 1- at age 29 they did leave her ovaries, the other recently at age 29, they did a complete on her because she has debilatating migraine headaches because of her monthly with hormones and all

. My oldest sister has had an ablasion too. Our mother has had four children, and has never had any trouble with her parts.

When my sister had her parts taken this spring along with fibroids and cysts... something like 7 masses removed... she had to have a large incision-- they lined it up with her c-section scar... had it turned out to be cancer then they were going to have to make a T for more exploratory surgery. Thank God it wasn't. She was out for something like 6 weeks from work.

A guy from church who went to school with my oldest sis, his wife just had a hysterectomy and they did a laser thing were she didn't get cut open. The recovery time is faster but it's deceiving in the sense that you still need to rest and take it easy to let your body heal and you don't have the big scar across your belly reminding you to take it easy.

I'd op for the laser surgery if I had a choice.

Hope your spirits are up and you know God is with you always,
hugs,
gretchen
