If these ducklings are mules/hinneys, how long before I'll know? If hate to sell them only to have someone wind up not getting what they thought they were buying, but these two almost certainly won't be staying here either

Now that they're grown, I an tell better. As babies, most of the hybrids had scovie-like bills, with different colours on them.

Depending on how long you plan on keeping them, you'll be able to tell when you get GIANT ducks!

They won't go anywhere until they're at least mostly feathered, so probably 4 weeks at minimum

My scovies from Metzers are getting huge though compared to the others. Debating if I want to keep them until I have a hen so I have an unrelated bird in the scovy group

I lost the little Swedish lookalike yesterday. I'm so bummed. She somehow jumped into a water tub that I really thought was too high while I was getting feed in town.

They are nimble little buggers. It's amazing what those tiny bodies can do! Gotta treat them like toddlers and duckling-proof *everything*. And even then they'll find a way!
