Mapped out 17 birds that I need to do. 3 or 4 every other week, possibly more depending on when Dad is home. Goal by end of winter is to get down to 14 bags of feed a month at least. I have more than 17 that need to go, I just have to actually count them since I don't remember how many males I have penned.

We just lost Auntie. Devastated doesn't begin to encompass it. She choked on her food and I couldnt get the blockage out in time by myself

Unfortunately it's not the first time I've lost a bird to choking. We lost a hen years ago because we accidentally tilted her upside down and she had just eaten and drank to clip her nails. That was back before we knew that gravity impacted their esophagus the way it did. I'm wondering if Cuzco stepped on her and made her swallow wrong? She wasn't a young bird, she knew how to eat
