Does anybody have lavender orpingtons that have a standing upright posture that is way way to high per standard.

Here are some pictures!
Took the three-week old chicks out to forage today, they just couldn't handle it. They are so delicate, slow growing, and such bad foragers that I may trade for something else. They are barely bigger than hatch size. Most beautiful birds on the planet, but now my least favorite of the 10 kinds I have....

Could they be bantams? My Lavenders are really good foragers. Give them some time! And all chicks are delicate, some chicks are more delicate than others, but when they are fully grown they change. They are much stronger, and they get used to being outside.
Being 3 weeks and not being much larger than a 1 day old is strange!! do you have pics?

That depends where you are located. You can always check Craigslist or Ebay.
