Looking for a new home for this 6-week-old rooster.

I put an ad on craigslist in Oakland, Ca (San Francisco Bay Area) but no takers yet. I can take and send more pictures if wanted.
Asking $15, which is what we paid; bought him from a shop here in Oakland that hatched him.

I have five Lav. Orp chicks, they come from big fluffy parents with a 100% English Roo. If these chicks get as big as their parent stock they should be a sight to behold! Beautiful Birds!!!

Hi there! Just trying to read through this thread (currently only on the 22nd page but hit quote instead of multi, lol). I am in the market for some SQ English Lav Orp's. Not sure if I want to get any now, or if I want to wait a year... Yours are adorable, and reading this thread is selling me on the lavender's. I thought I wanted some buff's from thedragonlady...

I will be up all night tonight! We just had a surprise birth!!! My nigerian dwarf doe just had her kid about an hour ago!! Wasnt expecting it, sobi was completely unprepared!!? I thought i had atleast 3 more weeks to go!! its so cold here tonight aswell, around 20 degrees. So i had to bring them in the house! The BF loves me right now lmao!

Mine are JC Hinkey (sp?) and GreenFire..but most in the US will by Hinky and GreenFire.

Are you looking for hatching eggs or chicks? I get mine from a guy in Poughkeepsie NY..he has beautiful Lavs from greenfire and JC hinkey..he sells hatching eggs and chicks, altho im not sure he has chicks right now. You can try ebay, i know he sells on there as well! Just becareful on ebay..iv ordered Lav eggs on there before and most were not fertile eggs.
If you want, you can PM me and i can give you my guys email..He might have chicks, but he sells out fast.

I got these new girls on Thursday (only one is pictured). They were both breeders. They both have a lot of dirty, yellowed feathers around their necks and rumps. If I bathe them, will it help at all? Or is it going to have to drop off at moult?
