Lavender Orpington?

@MINchick hi
I purchased a sexed female lav Orpington from mypetchicken 3 weeks ago. I’m a new owner so I’m not an expert on chickens or this breed. But she does look pretty similar to mine. I’ll attach a few pics I just took for you to compare.
From 1-2 weeks she was very light grey and had a yellowish tinge to get chest. Mine looked a little more grey but it could be the lighting. By about three weeks she’s much lighter than my other grayish girls and her coloring is starting to show. Although I can’t say I see any true ‘lavender’ quite yet. Her comb, as well as my other chicks, didn’t start to really appear until about 2 weeks also.

Yours is an Orpington, it has a single comb. OPs birds have pea combs :)

Ok after a lot of staring at this bird and researching more breeds and colors, I'm not convinced this one in particular is an Ameraucana. I'm wondering if she might be a Lavender Wyandotte. I don't think this is even a pea comb but a rose comb. I did email the breeder to see if she breeds that color so we'll see what she says.

Hmm, that comb looks like a pea comb to me. With my rose comb girls, their combs were completely flat until they got closer to laying.

The legs also look like they are changing. My vote is still currently on Lavender Ameraucana.

It looks like wheaten/lavender cross of some kind. My best guess is it's either a amerucana or orpington wheaten/lav cross.

That’s a pea comb.

A first generation wheaten x lavender cross would not produce lavender chicks.

Updated pictures of the first chick. Not much change but much more feathering out in the last week than in the entire month before and the comb is turning pink so I'm guessing it's a cockerel, whatever breed it is.
