I'll take photos soon but I have 5 3.5 week old chicks. 3 look more feathered out with tails and small combs 2 are slow to.feather out and have larger red combs.

My guess is the later 2 are roos. But I've also read they are hard to sex.

Thoughts?

They cannot be feather sexed, so just throw that out the window, lol. They are slow to mature and can take a while before you're sure who's who. I hatched a batch of LO this year and wasn't positive of their sex until 8 weeks of age. Post some pics, maybe you've got a fast-maturing cockerel showing a little more comb than usual, otherwise it's just time to sit back, wait and watch.
