Well you just have to remember if you move them from the cage theve been laying in they will start laying again in probably about 2 weeks.

Really? I went home for Thanksgiving break and moved my girls into temporary pens in my living room. I split them 3 to a cage. When I got home we collected all the eggs and they had laid an egg a day for each of the five days. They've been back in their outdoor coop since Monday. We were short one on the first day, yesterday we got all six, one was really large.

Sorry that was kind of long. The short of it is I have recently moved them with no significant drop in egg production.

Mine lay the same when I move them. If I move them a cage or two down they can't tell the difference.
