Leg Injury - Help needed

Ah, by the way about the egg... I suspect it was Stormys but I can't be sure. There was a tiny one this morning so I think they might be playing a game with me... I have just decided they are over doing it and confining them a little more

Good for you, we have to be the ones to curtail over doing they don't seem to grasp that concept.

I hope all your eggs hatch and congrats on the charger that is another reason to sigh relief. More protection is always good.

Well she can waddle!

I took some pics of her standing on both feet I should get them up soon. I haven't been able to wrap her as my bandages aren't here yet. Her claw is still mostly curled up but its getting there. Really doesn't get any better than that!

That is great news and possibly a few days in a shoe will help her foot too. I am so happy for her and you. look forward to pics.

Sorry my friend kids got sick and my one drive (the whole reason behind having a windows phone) has decided not to put pics on my laptop.

Its going to be a long slow road for her, but she can waddle a few steps now and I havnt had to wrap her.

My eggs are starting to hatch, the one I'm most hoping for has not moved for awhile I'm hoping its still ok. No pips yet

Hiding behind Andrea and Goldie

A close up of Goldie. Im still trying to work out who her parents are

Ive tried to show that she can move, stand and take a few steps. The foot is almost totally uncurled and I havent seen it get stuck in the backward position for ages now. I dont think I was impatient, exactly, I just got extremely worried about no improvement for 2 weeks. After those first few days of completely immobilizing it, something happened, it visibly and rapidly improved.

They still arent happy about being locked up most of the time but I really think they both need lots of rest.

She looks great and sounds like she is going to make a great recovery, I think your right they should still have some rest . Your ducks are gorgeous. Hoping all turns out great with your hatch.. Thanks for update. Hows the electric fence working out?

Hope your kids are feeling better too.

Sheesh thanks! I'm very proud of them. Goldie might even show next year. Havnt got the electric fence up yet but I only need a little time to set it up. No sign of the fox around but I'm still paranoid.
