My eggs from trueblue spent a week trolling around with the Postmaster so I didn't get to set them until 5/12 so they are due out the 6/4!

The showgirls I have coming off on 5/27 are from Jamie McCallum... I am excited!!

I haven't candled yet... I want to believe that every one of them is going to hatch! Well, that & my light broke.
Just around a week left of turning, and checking the temp, and monitoring the humidity, and watching, and waiting.
The posts about hatchability of "shipped eggs" make me nervous. I hope I get at least 50%. I only got 3 white silkies - I hope they're part of that percentage. I'm hoping for the best.

Any signs?! Any jiggling yet!?

I'm so excited for this hatch for you.... I know how big of a deal your first hatch is.

Welp I'll be moving the eggs to the hatcher this afternoon! *crossing fingers*

I can't wait to see pictures!!!!!!

Though I am not a huge fan of showgirls and all.

All chicks are cute though, so we're ok.

Ok.... is there anyone left on this thread hatching besides me?

In any event the eggs went into the hatcher today. I'm running the humidity at 40% for right now. Temp is checked with 2 thermometers, and all ventilation holes are open, and the incubator is up on blocks so the bottom vent holes are open and flowing.

I am soooo nervous! This is where things went wrong last time. Hatchery failure!

I'm still here with you, I just forgot for a while..LOL

Mine are set to hatch tomorrow but i dont have any rocking yet

Yay! I was beginning to be afraid of the dark, scary, alone, hatching egg.....

I haven't seen mine rocking either. But I didn't see the last eggs rocking either and 2 of them did actually hatch.

Come on Melissa's eggs you can do eet!

My eggs are in lockdown, too. No movement or sounds yet, but hopefully soon!
My problem with the last hatch was a humidity problem, so I upped humidity to upper 50s for this hatch. Also using the egg cartons for the hatch because chicks tried to pip from the small end last time.
Last time I had only 1 chick hatch. These eggs will be my first silkies and I gosh-darn-well better get more than one!
