Let's have a gosling hatchalong!

I think ducks are just cute period. I bet they are adorable. I am only test hatching so many of mine are mixed. I have a Pekin drake and 2 Appleyard drakes. And then I have those in females plus a few other breeds. I will have some pure and some mixed and I bet the mixed will still be super adorable.

X2! I have 3 duck eggs in lockdown that should be pure ancona, but there is a small chance they could be mixed. Either way, I am sure they will be adorable. In my area, ducks are used as bug/algae eaters and most people have no idea what the difference is between a purebred and mutt, and frankly do not care.

Anyone know what breed this my new baby might be. Not best photo taken through bstor window

Not sure... can't wait to see it fluffed up!

I love your drake!! He's gorgeous!

Treat your duck eggs the same as you would your goose eggs...this is what most of us duck people do....

Speaking of ducks! Here's a couple shots of my Easter gosling with the baby call ducks snuggling in....and ON!

I love all the baby pics and stories of successful hatches. I hope to have my own pics this weekend. I woke up this morning to peeping in the bator, so at least one of my 4 eggs internally pipped and that baby has strong pipes.
