Yes..if all goes well I should have two goslings from Ashley X Caspian on the 6th of this month..next Wednesday.

I have a lot of work that needs to be done outside today, but the wind is blowing like crazy, and some pieces of tin were flying around in the air..so I came back inside. lol

Thanks Aspen. I work on it a little each day. I have managed to spread my pictures between two computers: My old XP laptop and the windows 7 laptop I share with our daughter....i.e. never get to use...lol.

Anyway, it is really a lot easier than I thought and the site is free! Plus I can link it to my Paypal account and sell Mealworms, hatching eggs, and my arts and craft stuff to help offset my feed bill and stock purchases. I mean it is either that or rob a bank and that is still illegal....lol.

It looks great..I cannot wait to start working on mine. It'll be sooo much easier to just tell people to go to my website for prices, pictures, information, etc.

You can get a light off Amazon that is 900 lumens plus the special size rechargeable batteries it needs for under $30.00. I got one called the UltraFire WF-502B and it lights the interior of the eggs really well.

I have 9 fertile eggs now and replaced 4 that were duds with fresh ones today.

Glad you have some fertile eggs! It's so exciting to candle and see that little heart beat.

I went into my bathroom to turn my eggs in the one incubator and found it had turne off!!!!

The eggs were all cold. I have no idea of how long it was off??
So I guess I will lose those 10 eggs now.

I turned it back on but the last time I turned the eggs was this afternoon...
My luck last year and now this. I hope the girls keep laying because it is snowing here off an on maybe I will get more eggs. I am upset right now just found out at 9:30 pm.

My grandson just got here he is the one that is in Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2.......

He was one of the Voltar with the capes on and the RED eyes. I am going to get all the scoop of the actors ect.

So today I finish the pens. I need to put the new nests in. I made them out of 55 gallon plastic drums. I just hope this wasn't a mistake and I get my face attacked or "goosed" pretty good retrieving eggs. I may have to make modifications down the road.

The birds have been breeding a bit and I have gotten two eggs over the past 10 days. So I have enough time for them to settle a bit before the serious laying starts.

I candled my first 7 Embden eggs at one week old this morning looks like at least 6 are fertile (one is hard to see) - set two more goose eggs and 22 Muscovy eggs. I am up to 23 hatched ducklings this spring, still fighting my duck hatch rates - hope I do better with the goose eggs

I just got my incubator Wed and today I just put in 11 gray chinese geese. This will be my first time with goose eggs, so wish me luck.
