Too funny. I know what you mean. I'm a Krazy Kuntrygirl - I know. Well, I look at it this way.........I don't have any kids, so no diapers or milk or clothes or extra food to buy, so that keeps a few dollars in my pocket. I don't like to shop and waste money on clothes, jewelry, makeup or perfume, so that that keeps a few dollars in my pocket. I use coupons and only buy things on sale, so that keeps a few dollars in my pocket. I recycle EVERYTHING that I can, to include building materials, so that keeps a few dollars in my pocket. I get A LOT of free stuff on craigslist and from family, friends and co-workers, so that keeps a few dollars in my pocket. I'm not sick and never have to go to the doctor, so I don't have to waste money on doctor's visits or medications, so that keeps a few dollars in my pocket. So all of those dollars that I keep in pocket, allow me to feed all of my animals.![]()
Thanks for bringing up my sig. I have to update that. I have hatched more babies.![]()
Lol! "so that keeps a few dollars in my pocket"! LOVE IT! We're the same when it comes to clothes, jewelry, and perfume...I'd take the critters ANY DAY!
If you saw me on the weekend, you would think that I was homeless with the holes in my clothes that I wear in the chicken yard. I look a total mess.
But I clean up well when it's time for work on Monday. I feel that clothes, jewelry, perfume , etc don't make me happy but my animals do. I figure that when I die, people won't say that I wore the best of clothes and jewelry or smelled good, they will say that I loved my animals and I had a good heart. And that is worth more than a million dollars.

so today I had a Sussex go broody and I gave her the 3 goose eggs.....
