My next pair of goose eggs are on day 23 and I am seeing them moving and the air cells are starting to dip. I've been running my bator between 16-23% the past week and cooling and misting 1-2x daily, since the last gosling didn't lose enough moisture. I'm really nervous since I so badly want my 1st dewlap egg to hatch!
Are we suppose to be maintaining a 50% humidity? I thought we should do 20-25 %? That may explain some of my problems, I've got 4 goslings so far and 1 pip. Hi Lori. I suspect the eggs had not lost sufficient moisture. What was your humidity before lockdown? Did the aircells appear large enough?
