Yeah. It all started with a Youtube video titled "Megaman vs Samus" or something like that. I've been a Metroid fan ever since playing Zero Mission, and the comments about how Megaman would kick Samus' rear irritated me - anyone who's played the Metroid games knows that Samus could royally crush just about anyone without breaking a sweat. I now have a perpetual bias against Megaman.

But think about it - he's got an arm cannon, he can pick up abilities from defeated enemies... Hmmm... Ripoff much?

For the record, which of these would you bet on to win in a fight?

Okay, thread hijack over. Please ignore the ravings of the Metroid fan.

(Only series besides Halo and Conduit that I'd dare call myself a "fan" of)

Admittedly, Samus is freaking awesome and could kick anyone's butt in a fight, and she'd probably defeat Mega in a fight.

However, just because Megaman and Samus both have arm cannons and copy their opponents' abilities =/= Megaman is a ripoff of Samus.
