Lets talk about goats!

Isn't that the truth? I've had two of my kids get their legs stuck in this old lawn tractor my husband has sitting out, just in the last couple of days. I was positive they were broken :barnie but my fairy goat mother (Fields Mountain Farm) talked me down. :lau

Both are fine and I had him move that dang tractor last night.
I had one several years ago we had to put down due to getting it's leg crushed. Hubby had been working on a car out behind my barn n left the hood off, the little goat ran up the back n down the front across the engine but got his leg hung n twisted between the radiator and the frame...I was furious, kids were crying, hubby hauled off the car!!!;)

Yeah he was when I left for work. Had to put more flour on a couple times so hes looking a little white lol. Hubby is home keeping an eye on him now. Thanks! There was so much blood on all three I freaked out!
Glad he's OK....Horns and horn buds bleed alot! And he'd literally have to be standing in a puddle before you have to worry. Similar to when a child gets a cut on the head or a bloody nose.;)

It's our husbands faults when our goats get hurt!! I see a theme here! Bahaha. :lau

How is that goat doing that was anemic. I used to give mine B vitamin injections for that and all the leaves they could eat, besides deworming. Boer goats and crosses with Boer seem prone to worm problems. When i was new in goats, i bought three Boer kids and two out of three dropped dead from worm overload. I don't think the guy ever dewormed them.:hit
