Nope. I was quite relieved that the coyote a few days ago got a male and not one I was planning to keepIs it terrible of me to be a bit happy that the last surviving duckling is female?
Don't feel guilty about being happy this one survived, the one you give care and affection to appreciates the love and that is all that matters, especially to the one survivor. Love is love, there aren't different grades or levels of it.Because males and females are equally loved by me so I feel terrible for being happy that a female survived
They will still try and climb on her back at 3 months old!Judging from what I've already seen from her, I think she'll still try to let them. I think three LF chicks is a good number for her, don't know if she could comfortably hold more, especially as they grow
That doesn't make me feel better at all...Nope. I was quite relieved that the coyote a few days ago got a male and not one I was planning to keep

Is this good or bad?By the way, the conformationally favorite chick has Kolovos's color![]()
Is this good or bad?
Bad. He's technically off standard, but since there's no standard one could argue otherwise. Unless it's female, and/or remains perfect conformationally, without any other male being a close second, it won't get to breed
