@Canadian Wind , I know a muscovy male over Mallard females will make sterile offspring. Will those daughters still lay eggs though?

What age can you determine if a Muscovy is a female or male?

I can usually start telling the difference at around 6-8 weeks.

Just sold my extra muscovy male and two khaki females. The people getting them were just looking for pets, so they weren't too concerned about eggs either way

Doesn't 'sterile' mean that females wouldn't ovulate...and males wouldn't produce sperm?

Yeah. I guess Muscovy over mallard daughters won't lay eggs most times either though. At least, that's what I keep finding

Do you have links to this info? I'd be curious to read up on it.

Being sterile/infertile doesn't mean not laying, it just means that any eggs produced will be blanks. And any sperm would not be viable in the males.
