I have a bunch of OEGB fairy eggs. Honestly, they are smaller than a quail egg. A regular egg from them is probably about the same as quail, imo.

Think they are closer to a lovebird or cockatiel egg (which I used to breed).

That's what I sort of though, but I have no way of backing it up. The serama fairy egg looks like something that could come out of a budgie

YUP! So tiny.

After the decimation of my flock thanks to the fox, I'm thinking of getting some new OEGB. Unfortunately, the hatchery I'm getting them from (a small local one) doesn't have them sexed, so I'll have to take my chances. I'm thinking of getting two each of Red Pyle, Mille Fleur, and Porcelaine.

Also thinking of grabbing a small bunch of (sexed!) Brahmas (1 each of dark, light, and buff, plus a buff male), as well as some Chantecler, which are a Canadian breed made for our weather. They carry buff and partidge, so thinking two of each.

I'd love to get ducks from them, but they are waaaaaay too expensive. I'm going to be spending my tax return on these, lol!

Since I don't have quail anymore I cant set anything next to these eggs for scale, but the wire to the right in the first photo is 1"x1" inch.

Oh those will be gorgeous! I don't think I've ever seen a Mille Fleur OEGB. Brahma are so nice, unfortunately they don't work great here. I need to take some pics of the girls, they're so poofy! Chantecler are so pretty, I love the partridge variety

You can be sure I'll be posting pics, lol!
