We have, if somebody stayed home all day, only offered water before feeding them. To do that, though, you need to be offering something about every hour or so. It works very well and they grow like weeds and keep their home cleaner.

It's too warm here to do that right now, and I work when the Littles usually come in each year.

They are. Not my favorite color pattern, but they were what was available at the store, and ducklings in general are way cuter than chicks
