I felt the same way. But it happened eventually, and my first boyfriend became my husband of 32 years, and counting. Sometimes it just takes a while.

Something weird happened a few minutes ago. So for a few days, I'm been doing supervised free ranging time where Colonel, our drake, is out with the rest of the flock. Anyway, he actually let Runt eat near him and he did nothing.
But that wasn't the weird thing, Pebbles didn't attack him this time.

It was weird because she's been aggressive towards everyone ever since I sold the other ducklings on Tuesday. Attacking them for no reason. So it was weird to see her letting Colonel near Runt without attacking him.
