I'm very sorry. I'm also a cat person.

Her nickname was Mama Kitty as she had 5 kittens. They're adults now but we still refer to them as her kittens. We kept Lotus & Nyx. Both are half siblings separated by a year. So Lotus is 5 and Nyx is 4.

She said he was worried I’d want to become a boy, he doesn’t really understand the concept of more than two genders. She also said he was sad he didn’t have a daughter anymore, which I get but I’m still the same person, just a different name and pronouns. Haven’t talked to him yet bc he’s not back from work yet

IMO, the problem is that the 2 genders are so concretely defined.
If you don't want to dress all girly the only other choice is to be totally 'boy'?
I hated girly stuff since I was ~5, that was 55+ years ago.
My cousin, to the right, has always been the quintessential 'girl'.

I had a similar situation while I was away camping.

I assume hes home already, but if not gather some notes together to give you guidance while you try to explain what being agender means. I don't know if this is something that you need, but I am a person who can only really explain things properly when I have had it written down beforehand and it makes things so much easier.
