I've had it three times, I think
Two of which I could feel it happening and refused to open my eyes, the other time was the first time and it was truly terrifying lol
If you wake up paralysed, top tip, do not open your eyes

I've had it a lot more than that. I've also been 'stuck' in dreams, knowing I'm dreaming but unable to wake up. I'd think I was awake, but would in fact have just jumped to another dream, and have that happen several times, dream to dream to dream. The movie Inception really freaked me out because of that. One of the times this happened was after an operation and I'd been given codeine. I refuse to ever take it again because of that.

I've had a dream slightly similar, where I thought I'd woken up, and then boom another dream. Really confusing

That's usually when I have to let myself die in Dreams. They're usually zombie or monster based, and if I let myself get torn to shreds, it shocks me awake and I can go back to sleep with a different dream. I never mastered the whole "changing the channel" thing

I do, very vivid color. My MIL didn't believe me, said, "Nobody dreams in color." I couldn't believe that there were people who didn't!

Never had a lucid dream though.

I freaking hate nightmares like that
I've only had one nightmare about zombies, in a dark house, couldn't turn lights on
It was so scary!
Hate it. Never again. Nope!

Thing is, whatever is posing a threat in my dreams, is only scary until it goes after something I love, like my family or my ducks. Then I gain super strength and beat it up that's always fun.
