Oh I have nightmares very often
I have had nightmares, but they don't scare me, I'm very blase about them. I'm going to be executed in half an hour? Oh, Well, what should I do until then? That kind of reaction.

I have had two bad dreams though, that upset me enough to the point I woke up crying. Yup, just two. One can still make me tear up.

Wow! I dream in color, but never smells and textures. I'd be twice as scared if I felt my nightmares

I've only had one nightmare with smells in it but I was being chased by this dragon creature. It smelled like rotting meat so when it got close to me that was all I could smell. 🥴 It had a face like an earthworm and could pull it's face back a bit and had a beak with teeth. I was *not* a fan of that dream.

Oh wow I thought everyone felt their nightmares.
I got shot in one nightmare, right in the hip, so much pain. Awful. (I shot him back too don't worry!)
And I woke up still in pain! It faded fast as I woke up, but it was intense. Hip felt weird all day.

That's why I hate nightmares so much, I can usually feel it all. Even with sleep paralysis, it was just like a physical attack.

I swear dreams can be literally traumatising!

I've woken up from dreams with feelings so intense I was in tears knowing I'd just met and lost the love of my life.

I also *think* I dream in colour? The more vivid rememberable ones, anyhow.
That sounds painful
I can relate to an extent
I felt down all day yesterday because I had a dream I'd fallen in love with this woman. It was amazing
And then just thrown right back into a very lonely reality

Sometimes I think my brain deserves a medal for the story-lines it comes up with, other times I want to sue it for abusing my emotions
