I was at a minerology show once and they had some that they cracked for you. I went through the whole box before settling on a specific one that gave me really good 'vibes'. The guy manning the booth looked at me like I was crazy. Until he cracked it open. BEAUTIFUL fine crystal structures throughout. He said that was the nicest one he'd done all day!

Just be careful about combining too many stones together. Sometimes that's worse as the energies work against one another instead of together.
