Since they're such a popular breed and auto-sexed at hatch, you can definitely ask for more even if you're just starting. I don't know what they go for in your area but here it would be at least $20 per bird. I see young adults sell at $40.

Metzer sells them for like 27 for a female I think. Main reason I didn't get one

Breeders - $20-$30 each (Depending on age)
Feed stores - $17.99 each

I will ask more for the next batch once my birds start laying again. I just recently had to separate the males due to over breeding(My fault!)
