By rhe way, the incubator gave as a gift an egg candler, so I'm totally equipped (even though I still believe the phone light is better)! But enough about me, how are yall doing?

most of my eggs where clear we switched to a new feed before I collected eggs since then the eggs have been a lot paler then they where before, my mother thinks thats what caused it

Is the new feed lower in protein? Clears usually mean unfertile eggs. If the roos aren't getting enough protein, they can't fertilize eggs as well. However this would take a few weeks to effect fertility if it's feed related. So sorry!

I can’t remember how close to collecting eggs we switched feeds. its not much lower around 2% at most

That can be a big drop depending on before and after amounts. 18 to 16 is pretty big, but 21 to 19 wouldn't be as much since it is still above minimum

I will check the protein percentage again then, I think it was 19 to 17%

It could be that there isn't enough protien then. How old are they? What lines? I have a male that the entire line I hatched was infertile, so no more baby quail for Jacin
