Years ago someone posted a photo of their broody setting on light bulbs. She was SO broody and had no eggs, she had gathered all these bulbs and was brooding them.

Yeah. My super old Easter egger did that her first year and my Japanese bantam went broody successfully once, but she was so skittish she kept breaking. She would take babies though every time if I gave them to her, broody or not.

Well that gives me a little hope (it shouldn't, but to quote the iconic Millie Bobby Brown "You may say I'm a DREAMEEEEER") for Koutsi! Let's hope the clucking is a sign
