Do we need to send you to birthing classes?..…breathe, pant, push....
Peeping at lockdown is fabulous news!!!! They are alive and hear you out there! Peeping usually is followed by hatching soon too. Make SURE your humidity stays up around 65 percent,70 max, the membrane inside the egg and the egg shell itself needs be be soft enough to break through. Not over 70 though, you don't want to drown them. Once you get it all set tonight or tomorrow, don't open the lid at all. Only after all eggs have hatched and chicks are dry, you don't want any pipped chicks to get stuck inside the eggs and die.
So talk to the eggies, tell them to get those egg teeth ready and start breaking out!
Get a small cup or plate that you can put inside the machine, and put water in it. Cut a piece of CLEAN kitchen sponge, wet it first, and put it in this cup or plate, with enough water it will wick off and add more humidity to the air.That...might be a problem. I can get the humidity there, but I've noticed that it very suddenly drops. In other words, it is very possible that within a day or two the humidity would drop

Since I have never used your machine, I can't be sure so if those are the directions, I'd give that a try first. If after 6 hours and the humidity is not staying high enough, I'd try the sponge in a cup method along with the normal amount of water you are supposed to add to your machine at lockdown as per those directions you just told me here.So you're saying I should do this instead of adding the water in the regular spot? This is what the guy in the incubator video said, and I quote (and translate): "There are two channels in which we place water. The last three days, we fill the larger channel with water, without looking at how much we poor in. That should give us a humidity of around 70-75% which is the ideal"
I ALWAYS have had to add a cup and sponge to my machine along with filling the reservoir, some incubators just don't pump out the proper amount of humidity. Although my air is very arid, so it could be this too.

Of course!Thank you for your patience, first off. I'll do just what you said, although I expect the first 6 hours to be all sunshine and rainbows. The humidity stays stable for around 10 to 12 hours, and then from 60% it drops to like 32%. There won't be a problem if I open Electric Lady for just a second to slide in the sponge creation, right?
