Mine keep laying eggs in feed bags. I have a silkie that face plants when she sunbathes. 2x now, I've thought she died out in the run

Hmmm....I've seen 3 hens try to stuff themselves into 1 nest box.

Oh and one day I moved a couple hens from one coop to another coop. One of them had to lay an egg and didn't know how to get back to the old coop to lay it. So she hopped up on a shelf that had a window where she could see her old coop, and she laid it up on the shelf! I guess she figured this was close enough.
