LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

I was going to suggest looking at poultryshowcentral.com, but I see you're in Greece! So I'm not much help lol. Maybe some day soon, someone will get a show set up! I have friends in the UK that show poultry and they come to the US to go to the bigger shows like Ohio Nationals. Last year The Ohio National had 10,600 birds! It was amazing.

Yup! The best I can do currently is enter my birds on BYC's show. Just to get an outside opinion on my birds. Still, our SOP is slightly different. Thankfully the serama SOP isn't too different (the brahma SOP is). You guys just have very few serama colours accepted

Did your birds win anything in Ohio Nationals?

Look at the picture again. In the background is my trailer/caravan! So it's just out my front door, pretty much. :)

It's not considered invasive here, at least, or I would have pulled it. Plus, it has very different needs than tropical orchids. It needs winter, plus lives in a sort of symbiosis with certain mycelium. Difficult to reproduce inside! ;)

I did NOT see that trailer! OK! I guess you could call it a backyard plant.

Interesting stuff. Makes for a very cool orchid, and also proves the fact that you know your orchids :p

I have a friend that has TONS of seramas that she shows, as well as light brahmas.
I won Best Variety with my OEGB cock bird. Other than that, I didn't win much. But I wasn't there to win, I just really wanted to experience it. It was the 150th APA anniversary and the most birds ever entered. I got to go to the banquet as well. It was such a great experience. There were people from all over the world there, especially Canada and the UK. I even met someone from Norway. Unfortunately those from out of the country weren't able to show but it was just a great experience outside of showing.

That would be amazing to go to! I'd be so worried about getting any diseases though. Well, my birds getting diseases.

Most we have around here (that I know of) are the small local country fairs.

What colour OEGB??? Right now I have Lemon Blue and Red Pyle, and a lone older Silver Duckwing hen. I love the little buggers, lol! I was supposed to get either Porcelain or Mille Fleurs this year, but the hatchery wasn't able to hatch out enough chicks. :(
