The 4 in the first photo were from Etsy, so we'll see how they do in the next few monthsView attachment 4080520View attachment 4080525View attachment 4080526

I love Christmas Cactuses, I need one of those. They can live over 100 years! Keep us posted as they all grow!

I've been neglecting my plants lately... I need to read up on their care again to refresh my memory, see if any need repotted, be better about watering them... It shouldn't be so hard but it is
I'll get pics later but I have an Ardisia (unsure on species/variety. Maybe elliptica...? It has never flowered and I've had it for about... 6 or 7 years?), a parlor palm(?) (came with the Ardisia along with a polkadot plant which didn't survive. Of course none of them were labeled and all came in one small decorative pot labeled as something like "tropical variety" so I had to separate and identify them myself), a thanksgiving cactus, and a kalanchoe that's really struggling. The kalanchoe was gifted to me by a neighbor/walking buddy who moved to another state and I do NOT want to kill this plant![]()
Not sure yet. Only have had it a few days. Biggest issue is it's so porous that I can't bottom water without the bowl being as deep as their pot. My hope is that it works and that because it has so much airflow that it dries the roots out a bit faster since I tend to water more often than they really need in the current soil most are inThey are gorgeous! Especially that little one in the first photo that has this kind of snake plant look. So cool!
I see they are in a mixed leca substrate. Do you find that it works better for you? What are some of the pros and cons of it?
I have a Kalanchoe, it is VERY easy to keep! They don't like intense direct sunlight but can tolerate some early morning sun. I keep mine under grow lights and it's been flowering since December! (Sorry Fluffy, I forgot to mention this plant yesterday and it's flowers.kalanchoe that's really struggling.
