Sorry for the double post. I wanted to add reference in subject line about addition of photo for verification.

Are those tiny spots lice??

That' probably just dust or dandruff. If you want to check for lice, grab a girl at night, separate her feathers by her vent, if she has lice, you will see them crawling around on her down there. they might also be laying eggs at the base of her feathers near the vent area. The chickens will also be scratching an awful lot.
