Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Lucas walked through the forest alone, hunting. The leaves rustled, birds chirped, but amidst the sounds of the forest, were whimpers and sobs. The whimpers were filled with terror and pain, utterly pathetic.
He stalked forward, unsure of what lay ahead. But he kept going, in case the whimpers were of one of his friends, or sister, who had been attacked.
He positioned himself in a shadow as to not be seen, then he studied what was causing the whimpers.
Laying on the ground before him, was a girl, around his age. But it was no Aves, it was a human. He shivered. Blood spurted from her hand, side, leg, and shoulder. She would be dead soon. Mere food for the scavengers like vultures and wolves. He studied her, but didn`t see a blood thirsty killer, only a helpless girl. Perhaps it was because she was lying on the ground bleeding to death herself, but he wouldn`t let someone die.
He left the shadows and kneeled down beside her, and tipped he face to look at him gently. "What has happened..." Lucas whispered to himself, horror on his face.
If he was going to help her- if she let him- he would have to take her back to the new cabin, but the others would never allow a human to even set foot inside the cabin.
She would have to be an Ave if she was to live.
Eva coughed up blood, in severe pain. Everything hurt and her vision was fading. She was dying, she thought. Everything was coming to an end, and he would witness it. She choked out "An Aves. Long dark hair. He was invisible...or something. He had knives and a pistol." It hurt her even to talk. She laid limp against the floor once again, looking up at him helplessly.

Lucas shuddered. "That sounds like someone I know..." His voice drifted off. "If you let me, I`ll take you to somewhere were you will be healed." He said. "But, if you are healed, there`s one condition: You become an Ave. Forever. It`s the way the healing works."

Eva simply said “Please. Help.”, blood coming out of her mouth as she did so. Normally she would’ve been elated to have become and Aves. Maybe scared or nervous. But she dreaded she wouldn’t make it ther alive, in time for whatever magic he was proposing to work. She definitely couldn’t walk...was he strong enough to carry her there? (So I had a thought...remember how the transformation has to happen at night? Is it ok for everyone that just this story jumps ahead in fine a bit?)

Lucas nodded. "I`ll take you there." He carefully picked her up, avoiding her wounds, and set off for Sparrow`s Rock. (Sure! Once Hector and Persepolis are done we can skip them ahead too, since then everyone will be ahead, but them.)

Eva cried out in pain regardless of her not touching his wounds, resting her face against his chest, sobbing into it as he carried her to the spot, her heart beat sporadic and unnatural, eventually getting slower, not finding enough blood to pump through it. She leaned on him for support, an inkling of hope in her heart that he would save her. And if he did...what would she do? Words weren’t enough thanks. She’d die for him, she thought, looking up at his kind yet determined face.
