Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Xylo argued “No. I turned my back on you. When you wanted to say something. You bit your tongue and started bleeding. I’m not stupid.” He continued in a soft tone “What did you want to tell me?”, sitting on a rock across from her, ready to listen to whatever she needed to say. She needed someone to lean upon. He had never had anyone and he knew how wretched it felt. A feeling of desolation that never seemed to leave was the best way he could describe it.
River sighed. "I actually don`t know now. It was probably something about that new cabin or tomorrow." She hesitated, not sure if she could continue.

Crow flapped from one tree to the next, trying to move stealthily. He was starting to get bored with this human. He decided to have some fun, and flew right past Janus's face, letting out a loud caw. He landed in a tree, inwardly laughing.
Janus was taken aback as the bird just barely grazed his nose; he let out a grunt of surprise and watched as the crow landed in the tree next to him.
Target practice. Janus brandished his dagger and threw it at the bird.

(@FrankieDoodle are you still RPing with me?)

(Sorry, I didn't see your post)

Persepolis walked with him, without a word. She took her bow off her back and notched an arrow to it, if only to make herself feel better.

Stephen watched Persepolis out of the corner of his eye. "Where have you been staying? After you left the mansion I mean." He asked her.

When Crow saw the dagger, it was already too late. He let out a caw of pain as the dagger struck him right in the wing, pinning him against the tree trunk. He struggled, feeling blood drip down his wing. This made him struggle harder, and he was soon free of the dagger. He then tried to fly away, but his useless wing caused him to fall out of the tree, right in front of Janus. He froze, heart racing. If the human wanted to kill him, he could easily, whether he tried to run or not. He could turn back to his Aves form, but the human might be even more eager to kill him then. But, if he did, he would have a much better chance of escaping...

(@Dawnclucks22 if you want, Janus could capture Crow and bring him back to the hunter camp.)

Stephen watched Persepolis out of the corner of his eye. "Where have you been staying? After you left the mansion I mean." He asked her.
"In the woods. No tent or anything, just me, myself and I." She answered. She enjoyed having someone to talk to, but was still cautious with her words.

Persepolis kept an eye on him, but said nothing.
She listened to the sounds of the night.

Stephen heard something moving in the bushes, & froze. He drew his bow & crept closer, until he was almost there. A raccoon ran out of the bush & instantly out of sight before he had time to shoot it. He continued to walk around the cabin quietly, looking for any enemies.

Horius raised an eyebrow, not believing her. He questioned in a skeptical yet kind voice “So that stuff was so important you bit your tongue to say it? That’s doesn’t make any sense.” He looked at her with a questioning expression, waiting for her to admit the truth, what she really wanted to say, that is, if she would allow herself to reveal it after what he had done to her, turning his back on someone who wanted to speak to him.
