He knew what she was thinking about, it put a pit in his stomach, he couldn`t imagine what it must do to her. "How are you?" He asked quietly. "I`m fine." River said coolly. Lucas gave her an unbelieving look. "Okay. I`m going hunting, mind if I take Trodaire? That wolf can be useful."
"Sure." River replied. Glad for a distraction. Lucas turned and walked away. "Come on." He called Trodaire, who followed him.
She turned back to Xylo, thinking on what she would say.

Xylo didnt speak, he just waited for an answer, quietly analyzing her behavior and feelings.

"I was just trying to make sure everyone could sleep at least slightly comfortably," Persepolis said, referring to the beds.
"I want to thank you for talking to me, it means a lot to me to have someone to talk to." Her appreciation was clear in her voice.

Luna nodded, feeling the same way. She asked softly “Hey, maybe we could go hunting or take a walk some time?” She wanted to cherish the opportunity to make a friend she had formerly neglected.

River walked forward, then turned to look at him. Why didn`t she hate him? Why did she even care to be kind to him? She blinked at him. "I`m... going to go practice. If you want you can come." She said, then shivered, more memorys clawing their way up.

"That sounds good to me", Persepolis answered, smiling softly.
She's looking forward to that.

Xylo nodded, asking softly, looking deep in her eyes for the truth “Do you want me to come? Or would you prefer to be alone?” He would respect whatever she chose.

"I'm not busy now", Persepolis replied. "Are you?" She asked. She hopes she isn't. She wouldn't mind spending some time with Luna, she liked her. As a bonus, the weather was nice this morning.

Luna shook her head, asserting “We could go on a walk. In this direction, away from River and Xylo. I think something’s going on there. I could be wrong but I doubt it.” She offered another smile and waited for her to accept the invitation before walking.
