Xylo already had a plan. He was stronger than her, so if she came in to swing, he would fly up and bat he sword away, hoping she would drop it, or at least get rattled enough that he could deliver a “killing” blow

Xylo saw she was making an overhand blow, so he swung his stick as hard as he could in an underhand blow, in addition to using his wings to increase that force. He stick went flying up in the air, and he caught as he hovered above her, a stick in both of his hands, thinking out loud in jest “And what should I do with this poor thing here.”, flying towards her.

"You're not the only one who's past has become their present", Persepolis said. "I think, deep down, we all want to reset. I do, at least. Clearly, you do, too."
Persepolis stopped walking for a moment, and faced Luna when she spoke, "I haven't forgotten my past, it still plays in my head every day. In my mind, it takes one kind of person to even have a past." She looked Luna in the eyes in a kind manner as she finished talking, "And it takes an even stronger, braver person to recognize that they have a past, and to remember it. And that's because you learn from your past. And the most impressive kind of people are the people who can take what they've experienced and learn from it."

Luna looked her in the eyes as well, agreeing with what she was saying. She added softly “You’re right. I’ve learned from my past and remembered it, I just haven’t learned from it. It’s like I’m captured by it.” She said enthusiastically “And I’m working on fixing that, but it takes time.” With a thankful tone, looking her in the eyes to emphasize sincerity, she stated “Thank you for talking. It’s helped just talking about it. I’ve always just had it locked inside of me, eating away at my soul.” Luna looked away at the last part, still ashamed of her weaknesses.

She dropped down and landed beside him, grabbing her branch out of his hand and pointed it at his throat. "Ha."

She dropped down and landed beside him, grabbing her branch out of his hand and pointed it at his throat. "Ha."

Xylo reacted quickly, grabbing her branch and twisting his wrist to bring her close. He reeled her in till were. Lose enough to hug, before he moved his stick to the side of her neck, gripping both sticks tightly, his muscles flexed, before whispering tauntingly “Ha.”

"You're welcome", Persepolis responded sincerely, "Thank you for talking to me, too. Talking to you has helped me, as well."
They both walked in silence for a little while, appreciating each other's company.

Luna pointed to a little stream up ahead, before stating “There’s been a lot of animals coming through...” A baby dawn peaked his head out of the bush, as if on cue to her statement. Luna’s heart melted at the cute baby deer, stood frozen as to not disturb it.

Xylo reacted quickly, grabbing her branch and twisting his wrist to bring her close. He reeled her in till were. Lose enough to hug, before he moved his stick to the side of her neck, gripping both sticks tightly, his muscles flexed, before whispering tauntingly “Ha.”

Persepolis froze, watching the fawn intently. She thought the fawn was adorable and wanted to observe it for as long as it would stay. She got the same sense of awe from Luna.
A flicker of movement to the left of the fawn caught her attention. It was the doe, whose eyes were fixated on her and Luna. Persepolis gently tapped Luna with her finger and nodded her head in the direction of the doe. She wasn't interested in hunting it, she just wanted Luna to see it.

Something flashed in River`s eyes as he pulled her. She knew he wouldn`t hurt her though, and whatever flashed was soon gone. She raised an eyebrow. "Sneak. I guess you got me, Mr. Werewolf."

Xylo noticed what happened in her eyes and asked quietly “Are you ok Ms. Showoff?”, resisting the urge to hug her in the short distance between them.
