Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Luna laughed more at that, before sobering up, responding “No. I’m not, so thank you Caveman Couple.” That drew a few more snickers from her, even though she really was appreciative.
Persepolis sat on the bed next to Luna. "So, what was Luna doing all day while I hung out with Hector?" Persepolis asked innocently. "I'm curious."

"I will. Thank you." Stephen said, & sighed. "I wish you didn't have to leave."
Horius nodded, before speaking solemnly “People fear death. And I bring it. But the people who try to understand others, like yourself, have never been afraid of me. Or death.” With that, he walked off, disappearing in the dark.

Luna responded simply “I actually slept some. And then I played some with River’s pet wolf. But other than that pretty much nothing”.
"Lucky duck, you. I haven't been able to sleep since the first night I got here." Persepolis laid back on the bed with a sigh, fanning her hair out around her head. Staring at the ceiling, she continued, "Did you happen to notice that the new Aves girl is one of the humans we encountered earlier?"

Stephen opened his mouth to say something, but closed it when Horius left. He sighed & dropped his head in his hands.

(Are we doing the River and Horius fight eventually? Sorry, just curious.)
River watched him go. The idiot forgot about his own rule. She shifted and flew after him, lighting down in a branch and concealing herself in a shadow so that he wouldn`t see her.
(We can do it now if you want.) Xylo flew over Stephen, realizing they must’ve talked. He landed in front of Horius, before asking “Why are you leaving with your things.”

Horius muttered “You know why.” And kept walking past, ignoring him along with the temptation to leave him for dead.

Luna nodded, responding thoughtfully “I was going to comment on that. She’s the one that asked all the questions. The one with the rifle.” She muttered, some anger in her voice “Must’ve been awful to have your trust in Aves esssentilly ruined when Horius tries to kill you.”

(Maybe Xylo and Horius get into a verbal fight and someone pulls a knife/gun and River jumps in the way?)
River watched intently. I feel terrible about this. She thought miserably. She hated that this would tare apart a friendship, and probably more than one. But it had to happen.

Persepolis nodded in agreement, responding with a huff, "I'd imagine." She added thoughtfully, "But she's here now, and she doesn't seem to hate any of us besides Horius which, obviously, isn't going to be an everyday problem for her. My concern is her friend. Remember, there were two of them? Whether or not her friend saw her get attacked by Horius, I bet she still would have figured it out that an Aves did it. This new girl, she only ever set out to study us. Her friend, however, used to be a hunter." She locked eyes with Luna when she said those last two words. "That's what I'm concerned about."
