Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Stephen sat up, & pointed his bow with an arrow loaded on it at Horius. He saw who it was & lowered his bow. "Sorry. You startled me." He mumbled, looking away quickly.
Horius shook his head, giving a calm “No worries. Don’t worry about it.” He paused, before admitting silently, emotion void in his voice “They’re voting to kick me out, so this is probably goodbye.” He added “Peobably think I’m too dangerous to have around.”

"Just because you killed a couple people? That doesn't seem right." Stephen said.

"Well, Hectors rabbit was slow." Persepolis remarked. "Mine was fast. I had to use a bit of parkour to get to it."
Persepolis blushed in response to Luna's teasing, "Like as in I wouldn't be opposed to dating him," she responded bashfully.
Luna smiled at the first part, before laughing outright at the second. She assured her in a jovial tone “That is going to happen, no matter what. No matter how much I need to work to see it.” She smiled when Persepolis turned red, teasing “Oh, you’ll be sooo cute. The two club-wielding Aves.”

Horius shook his head, admitting calmly “Its much more than just two Stephen.” He sighed, before continuing “I don’t like killing Stephen. It’s just my fate to extinguish the evil.” He asked, still no emotion showing in his voice “Do you want to know why I do it Stephen?”

"Why?" Stephen asked calmly.
Horius began by explaining in an ice cold tone, “I have never told anyone this. You will know what no one else knows. I am trusting you with it, and if you tell anyone else I swear you will pay.” His eyes shine with conviction, he was not joking. But Stephen seemed like the only one not opposed to him, so perhaps he deserved to know. He asked “Do you promise not to tell anyone else?”, studying his eyes carefully

"Oh shut it," Persepolis laughed.
In response to her last sentence, Persepolis lightly smacked Luna with her club. "Never underestimate a woman with a club." She chuckled.

Horius nodded, satisfied with the man’s response, before responding “When I was eight, I was human. I was not born an Aves. I was an only child, and I lived in the woods in a small cabin with my mother and father. One night, my mother returned an Aves, with wings of a goldfinch. They were beautiful. But my father didn’t think so. He only saw envy, jealousy, rage. He murdered her there, in front of me, while I tugged and pulled at him, too weak to stop him. Eventually, my mother screamed and cried for me to run away. Which I did, hearing her screams in the night.” His emotions becoming more apparent, he hissed “I was weak then, but now I am strong.” After the somewhat short explanation, he looked upon Stephen, looking for sympathy, hatred, admiration. Looking for something.

Luna smiled, responding with a snicker “The caveman couple. It’s beautiful.” She rolled on the bed laughing, in a tone that assured Persepolis she was just joking, just teasing. In reality she was very happy for Persepolis’ sake.
