Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Xylo looked at Hector. Everyone else had voted but them, but there votes didn't matter anymore. The vote had been settled. Horius would have to leave. With a sigh, he announced to everyone solemnly "I'll banish him. He'll be gone by the end of the day. Which is pretty soon." He added with a quiet pills "But we have to be extremely careful. He most likely sees us as traitors after this. And that means we need to watch out."
River shifted her weight. Was this the best way? Whether it was or not, this was the way it was happening. They would deal with the consequences- as a group. Hopefully Horius would leave peacefully. But she of all people knew that things don`t always happen like that.
She was one of the people who should understand Horius, she had often been discarded on the edges of society like a worthless mutt. But she didn`t understand him a bit. They had dealed with their problems in two different ways. And Horius had chose to become a murderer.
So this is the way it happens. Another split. Another banishment. But we must do this.
River glanced around. "I believe it`s settled then."

Persepolis replaced her arrow in her quiver, lifting her gaze to meet Xylo's. She spoke cooly, "I'd suggest that after this everyone travel in pairs. And perhaps we should all make sure we carry more than just one type of weapon." She again went silent.

Xylo nodded, responding "The meeting is adjourned. It's settled." He added "We'll have to set out some precautionary measures, which can be discusses later. For now, please stay in the camp until Horius returns. I saw him leave, into the woods, about when we began talking. He most likely already knows."

Persepolis nodded. She walked over to Luna and said, "I'm going to our room for a bit. Want to join me?" She wanted to get out of this room, but not leave the cabin. She wouldn't leave until Horius got back.

Luna nodded, as she exited the room with Persepolis. She tried to lighten the mood by asking a separate question :"So how was hanging out with Hector? How did the 'club making' go?" She chuckled some, finding that word funny for some peculiar reason.

Persepolis laughed, remembering the moment. "It was good. I like him, he's really nice." She said, smiling to herself. "He showed me how to make a club, of course. It wasn't that hard, but I still appreciated it. We went hunting with our clubs. We got a rabbit apiece and Hector got a raccoon that tried to bother us."

Luna raised her eyebrows in surprise, remarking "Wow, either those rabbits were really slow, or you two were really fast." She waited until they entered their room before asking with a hint of a smirk growing on her face "And like as in..."

River stood stiff and straight while the others were still walking out. Once all of them had left, she turned her unreadable eyes to Xylo.

Xylo did not meet her eyes. He was looking down at the floor, his eyes pensive and somewhat worried. He had never expected to have to banish someone, not Horius even. He had been Horius’ friend, and now he betrayed his friendship to the will of the majority. But Horius deserved it; he had put them all in danger, respecting no one but his deceased mother. Xylo suspected Horius might not even respect his own self

Xylo ordered simply "Everyone. Give their vote. Now."

Luna looked over at Eva, not imagining the pain she had gone through. She had seen a corpse left behind by Horius, and they were terrible works of destruction. She knew Lucas was now a target, and so was the girl. For that matter, he had heard Persepolis and herself talking about them too, so maybe they were targets too. Some of her confidence left her, but she managed to say "I vote for him to be banished."

(@FrankieDoodle ) Horius knew very well what they were doing. With that said, he calmly went to the forest to talk to him, perhaps say his goodbyes. Stephen was sensible, he thought. Kind. Thoughtful. He was a good man, and hoped he would never have to face off against him. Horius had trouble killing, on some days. After a few minutes walking, he called out to Stephen, who was up ahead.

Stephen sat up, & pointed his bow with an arrow loaded on it at Horius. He saw who it was & lowered his bow. "Sorry. You startled me." He mumbled, looking away quickly.

"Well, Hectors rabbit was slow." Persepolis remarked. "Mine was fast. I had to use a bit of parkour to get to it."
Persepolis blushed in response to Luna's teasing, "Like as in I wouldn't be opposed to dating him," she responded bashfully.
