Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Xylo sighed, finding the conversation rather unproductive so far. He looked around the vote, finding it rather hard to see someone else who was trying to join the conversation. He proposed solemnly "Maybe it's time to just take a vote, or end the conversation here and just keep on as it was." That was hard, especially since one of Horius' victims was in their camp, with Lucas defending her.
"That`s going to be nearly impossible to 'keep on as it was'." River stated, her voice lacking emotions.
~
"I think we should take a vote." Lucas offered.
(Sorry, I couldn`t think of much to say... again XD)

Persepolis agreed emotionlessly, "We should vote."
She stood, silent again, waiting to hear what the others would say.
She had noticed River's eyes linger on her, and was careful now to avoid talking too much. She didn't want to influence anyone's vote.

Xylo ordered simply "Everyone. Give their vote. Now."

Luna looked over at Eva, not imagining the pain she had gone through. She had seen a corpse left behind by Horius, and they were terrible works of destruction. She knew Lucas was now a target, and so was the girl. For that matter, he had heard Persepolis and herself talking about them too, so maybe they were targets too. Some of her confidence left her, but she managed to say "I vote for him to be banished."

(@FrankieDoodle ) Horius knew very well what they were doing. With that said, he calmly went to the forest to talk to him, perhaps say his goodbyes. Stephen was sensible, he thought. Kind. Thoughtful. He was a good man, and hoped he would never have to face off against him. Horius had trouble killing, on some days. After a few minutes walking, he called out to Stephen, who was up ahead.

Persepolis spoke confidently. She had no issue with her vote, she had known what she had wanted ever since earlier that day when Horius made it clear he wanted to kill her.
"I vote to banish Horius." She stated matter-of-factly.
Persepolis looked around the room then asked, "Has anyone else noticed that Stephen isn't here?"

"I vote that Horius is banished." Lucas said simply, his voice void of emotion or pity, much like his sister`s usually was. And after all, why should he pity Horius? He was a murderer.
~
River looked around at them. She knew that if she said anything yet then everyone else would follow her, and she didn`t want that. She wanted them to vote for what they believed in. She would say something later, if she did vote, since she wasn`t sure if leaders voted at all. Really, she didn`t know anything about being a leader.

Xylo realized Horius would have to be banished by the end of the day. It saddened him somewhat, he felt bad for Horius' past, but his actions were utterly cruel. And actions like those could've gotten them all killed.

Eva's look grew more relaxed as she realized Horius would most likely end up being banished. She looked up Lucas, thankful for his vote.

(@Cyprus ) Luna replied softly "He flew off to the woods. After Eva came." She looked to River and Xylo, before asking quietly "What do you think, you two?"

River was deep in thought. Luna`s words jerked her back to reality. "I think Horius needs to be banished." She replied quietly.

Persepolis nodded her reply. Hopefully, Stephen wouldn't be upset that they were voting without him.
Persepolis took an arrow out of her quiver, balancing it on its tip on her finger. She flicked her finger up, making the arrow jump and then caught it. She twirled it, watching the feathers at the base flair. She needed something to focus her gaze on.

Xylo looked at Hector. Everyone else had voted but them, but there votes didn't matter anymore. The vote had been settled. Horius would have to leave. With a sigh, he announced to everyone solemnly "I'll banish him. He'll be gone by the end of the day. Which is pretty soon." He added with a quiet pills "But we have to be extremely careful. He most likely sees us as traitors after this. And that means we need to watch out."

Persepolis replaced her arrow in her quiver, lifting her gaze to meet Xylo's. She spoke cooly, "I'd suggest that after this everyone travel in pairs. And perhaps we should all make sure we carry more than just one type of weapon." She again went silent.
