"It was fine." Lucas said, looked out over the canyon. "I am really sorry about not taking that walk with you."

Eva shook her head, leaning against him softly before assuring "No, it's fine. We both had busy days. Besides, we're sharing time together now, aren't we?" Her eyes looked up at his, giving him reassurance there was no issue in not having taken a walk. She just wanted to spend some time with him in private, and that's what they were doing now.

Lucas looked down at her. "That we are." He wrapped his wing around her.
(Is Luna going to talk to River and Xylo tonight in the RP or in the morning? She could knock on the door and wake them up.)
 
Stephen arrived at the area he left Alec & drew his bow. He let a sigh of relief when he saw Alec was gone. At least I don't have to kill him now. Stephen thought. I just hope he won't find the cabin. He walked back towards the cabin, taking his time.
 
Persepolis lifted her bow. She notched two arrows again. Drew back. She carefully aimed at the same spot as before. Releasing the arrows, she watched them fly. They both hit the mark perfectly. She walked over and retrieved her arrows. Again she drew her bow, notched the arrows and aimed them at the knot in the tree. Again she hit her mark. Persepolis did this several more times.
Trying something new, Persepolis notched two arrows again but this time aimed at two different targets. She wanted to hit both the knot on her practice tree and a tree 6 feet to the left of it. She adjusted her arrows and released. Her first arrow hit the knot on her practice tree. Her other arrow just whizzed past the practice tree. Not even close. She'd have to continue practising.

Eva snuggled against his shoulder, whispering softly "I feel safe. Next to you." She closed her eyes, taking in the words that she had just said.
