Life threatening event and now yellow urates

It's just that she seems so with it and alert at times. If she seemed on the edge of death all the time, I might OD her with sleeping pills or something. Or maybe a nice Merlot ;-) I'm more chicken than she is.

Have you treated for sour crop. The vomit maybe her trying to adjust her crop. If she is still a live try a vaginal antifungal in the mouth twice a day for 7 days gentle massage to lower crop marks

Sorry that she is not digesting her food. My hen only seems to spit up if I massage her full crop, and that can cause choking. I have stopped treatment on my hen, just letting her do what she wants to do, and offering her bits of scrambled egg daily. I don’t think that she will be alive much longer.
I would agree that your hen sounds like she could have a blockage perhaps in her gizzard or crop preventing anything going through. Tumors in the crop or elsewhere can sometimes be present.

Sounds like a good idea. Will try.

The odd thing is that I have a hard time feeling her crop...like it's deflated.

It may be that for some reason, she cannot tolerate food in her crop. I really don’t think that she has a very good chance to live. It would be good to get a necropsy just to see what was wrong.

How is your hen from a couple of years ago with the facial and head swelling (sorry I forgot her name?) The last time I heard she was doing very well.

You mentioned a messy bottom could she have vent gleet? This can cause sour crop in some cases. Stop anti biotics. Won't help if it's sour crop keep up the yogurt. Don't make her vomit and read two crow an SD VB Sally sunshine articles. She is not eating you need to look for billed OUT FEED

A LP so add acv to her water

Should mention also, she ate last night before bed and this morning and she was awake and eating when I got up -but no vomiting since yesterday afternoon.
Just gave her the antifungal cream. Her crop is actually hard to find and very small and soft. Maybe it's the muscle loss - keel bone is very prominent.

Her vent looks clean and healthy. She does have poop on feathers but I think it's because her output is runny and small. I don't smell any yeast.
I already gave Amox this a.m. but will stop and see how she is. She's eating a ton of yogurt. Small amount of feed mixed with Pedialyte. A blueberry here and there. I have seen bits of blueberry skin in her poop, as well as feed - or what looks like wet sand. (I'm using puppy pads which lets the liquid seep down, leaving solid matter on top.)

I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean by "billed out feed".
