Nope, no Violets yet... and I only have 2 Pied Powder Blue males in one of my flocks...the only color I have with NO pearling (and they are recessive on top of recessive, lol) so no more colors have shown up in my hatches in that flock yet, dangit!!! I refuse to order keets or eggs, I want to hatch my own, from my own flocks!!! I'll get some to hatch, some day...it just may take me another season of hatching out almost 800 keets to get them, grrrrr

lol I can't wait to see what kinds I get if some of my hens hatch. They'll start laying next year, right?

If they are 16 weeks old or older b4 Fall... you may see some eggs this season. Otherwise yah, next Spring you'll be getting/hunting eggs.
