Limping

Went to the coop this am and found my pretty girl Sophia (born 3/31/23) limping. No obvious signs-lesions, breaks (we xrayed), cuts, etc. Anyone have suggestions for what I may be looking at? I’m stumped.

Is your chickens vaccinated against Marek's disease? Have you added any new birds to the flock recently. How long has she been doing this for?

If you have the pictures of the x-ray, can you post them please? She may have just torn something. Keep her in a coop with a flat, stable floor and no perches. A dog crate is fine, and I suggest wood shavings and not straw for bedding. You want her to minimize any chances of further injuring herself. You might start seeing a difference within three days. If there's no improvement or if she gets worst after two weeks, then it most likely is something different.
