little giant 9300

Good trying to keep it in the 30-40% range now, it drops below 30% I add a 1/4 of a shot glass to it, sometimes it gets in 50s but doesn't stay long. I pulled a quitter tonight, saw 2 more that were iffy but the rest look good. I'm really hoping my temp range has not been too low. 3 different thermometers, 3 different readings at times. I've got a meat thermometer that I used to calibrate it empty when it reads 102 the turner surface is 99.5. Haven't had any of the heat spikes this time so far. Here's hoping this hatch will be good!

Good luck!! Mine are at day 20 and I can't get my humidity up past 68%-69%, which is ok. I would love to get it to 70% though. I have 14 eggs, and none are pipped or anything yet. My temp was low in the beginning before I realized these bators had trouble with accurate readings.

I just ordered 12 more hatching eggs last night, so I'm planning on getting the circulating air kit today to add to my bator, and will begin a new hatch on Friday. I've learned a lot from this first one, so I will be more prepared to deal with the temp and humidity problems next time.

Good luck, I hope they hatch! Yes temperature control is the battle with these! I Do have the fan and I still have temperature differences across the incubator. Do you have a turner?

I just bought the turner for next hatch, but I didn't have it in time for current one. I turned by hand 4 or 5 times a day, even in the middle of the night. (I'm an insomniac) Lol

You think it wouldn't, I didnt either. Something about days 11-14 being critical days and shouldn't candle or touch. Plus the turner moves them much more than hand turning 3x a day.
