Little Lou

https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...nd-supportive-care-updated-5-14-2018.1048620/ This is a good one to book mark but scroll all the way till you see how to give oral meds it will show you where to put the needleless syringe, I am giving meds to my 12 yr old duck right now and believe me they forgive. Or try giving him something he really likes like a small bit of chopped tomatoes or water melon just enough he gets the whole dose of Liquid b complex.
That's what you got right the liquid b complex?

Yeah at tractor Supply. Ok thanks. How on earth were you able to keep your duck alive that long. I saw you live in NC. So winter is not near as bad as here but I read that they live 6-8 years

This is a Muscovy this breed isn’t Mallard derived so it hasn’t been tampered with like other domestic ducks they can live long lives. She has arthritis in her hip. I remember a member a few years back who had a 12 yr old Pekin drake.

I have four Muscovies..in fact..one My Guy is one of my favorites..he had an injured leg and I had to keep him in his own pen at night for a month..with a friend...he’s great now and sooo tame..I’m glad to hear that your girl is doing well considering her age...is she in your picture..I figured it was a male due to the extravagant face mask

All my ducks were born in the spring..we just started all of this then..I had significant health issues and Chris got me some ducks..Muscovy ..because I always wanted them..now we have over 100 animals it’s great and my health is better than ever! We are sooo Blessed

Aww animals are better than anything they give us reasons to get up an go in the mornings make us laugh so we don’t need a therapist. And keep us healthy because we work hard caring for them. I am happy your health is great now and you are well on your way to a great adventure. Enjoy!! Hoping little Lou benefits from taking the b complex too:hugs what are all the animals you have

We also have rabbits, goats, chickens, rooster, goose, and pigs . Oh, and dogs of course . Yes they really helped me when drs kind of couldn’t...I have seizures..plus I used a cane for twenty years due to a badly broken back..but I had serious ankle surgery in the winter and they rehabbed my bad leg and now I’m great..so anyway the better I got the more animals we get...I absolutely love farming. We work hard from 7-7. But it makes me feel better and better...what animals do you have also?
