So here's the conversation I just overheard coming from the living room between my Mom and my 2-year-old sister, Keziah (KEE-zee-uh).
Keziah: "I hided it"
Mom: "You hid it"
Keziah(determined she's right): "I hided it"
Mom: "No, you hid it"
Keziah(a bit upset now): "I HIDED IT!"
Mom: "You don't say 'hided', you say 'hid'. You hid it"
Keziah(exasperated): "I put it somewhere, and now I can't see it"
This all was followed by an uproar of laughter from the rest of the family. It's great having a big family!
